SUMMARY
Median Auction = limited to Sires with Median <£22k. Unusual field lacking any reps from bigger stables (Hannon, Channon, Brittain, etc.) that often provide some OR70+ quality amongst the moderate to poor ones.

Folkestone a right handed track although the stalls for the sprint races are always on the Stands' rail on the outside of the straight. Which means that stall 6 in this race was next to the rail with 1 at 6 lanes out today (which means the problem of Draws equating to different strips of the track with different field sizes has not gone away, just changed tracks and sides). Stiff breeze on the day as a Half Tailwind from the right.

TDL produced the performance that looked possible from the way he travelled through the first 3 furlongs of his debut. Able to finish the race off fully in the last 2f. Trainer Turner now had 2 x STO wins this year after moderate debuts. What happened to the old days Bill? When a Teversham owner bred like this would have turned over an underdone Hannon runner, with both on their debuts, and at 20/1. Rather than putting some distance on a Moore rabbity filly who had already been run away from by a zippy, small filly. Presume TDL will still run at Thirsk in mid-April and interesting to see what Turner thinks of him by whether he runs him in the Novice race there or in the claimer.
