SUMMARY

Leading pair Wound Pace up from Halfawy and always going best. Ellaal took lead soon after Hf and looked as if might go away to win impressively. Probably got tired and ended up having to hold Periphery as he kept on well and responded to being headed and going 0.5 to 1L down. Ellaal a little free early but looked promising type and with scope to improve further. 3rd horse Forgotten Hero promising although well back from leading pair. Inx & too time to get going from rear then Hampered between the 2f & 1f poles. 5th at 1F out and strong finish to line.
