S as it was two days prior. Going Stick reading from = 10.00am.

Stands Side course in use. Stalls Far Rail.

Stiff SW Wind = Quarter Tailwind from Right.

Hand Timed. Distances reported also suspect because the Camera malfunctioned so that reported Finishing Distances are likely to be visually judged. These will therefore be wrong because Official Distances are normally reported by converting the time beaten into a Distance using a formula. Which is also why reporters, and BHA handicappers come to that, using phrases such as 'beaten a long-looking 2L...' are meaningless. Official distances ARE NOT Visually judged so will LOOK DIFFERENT to the human eye's view.

Field raced Far Rail with Winter Song racing the rail. Looking smaller in Group and one of first pushed along after halfway. Seemed to win by outstaying FFruit who travelled better for 5.5f and probably helped by the rail run. Shore Step ran a bit too free early close to the rail but switched out to centre to make effort and fading late on.
