SUMMARY

GGF from G. Watering overnight but no details Given. Going Stick Reading from 11:00am. Strong Easterly Wind = Direct Tailwind.

Apparently Fast Time but probably not that quick given the Tailwind and the conditions. Later Handicap much faster and run in 69.63s by an OR74 older horse carrying 2lbs less plus an A5.

No Video Replay Available. Racing UK seem to have lost more than half the races on the day. [UPDATE = Available VT mid-June]

Hannon continues to dominate the Goodwood races. Has won this race for the last three years including with two better types (Gp winners Trumpet Major STO in 2011). Mister Marc has been entered for various races since early season including the Newbury 6f Maiden in mid-May where he had run Trumpet Major in 2011 (plus Canford Cliffs & Strong Suit in the previous 2 years). Mister Marc also another positive for ones tha Richard Hughes has talked up in earlier season. Hughes in Ireland with Trumpet Major in the Irish 2,000 so Moore riding MM here and Dobbs on Ronaldinho. MM presumably OR90+. Ronaldinho nearly Pulled Up after knocking himself out of the stalls and given a nominal 99L distance beating. But, even as second string if he started at GDWD for Hannon he oulgt to be OR80+ at least.
