SUMMARY
£10k Bonus Race.

4mm of Watering Overnight. Going Stick Reading from 08:00am. Stiff Easterly Wind = Crosswind from the Right.

Stalls Centre Track.

Fahey on his Sporting Life blog = "...will come on for the experience. He's ready to go but is still a bit raw and thick-winded. I'd be surprised if he can win first-time-out but he will be winning races. He's quite laidback, we haven't been that tough on him and I'd be delighted if he was in the first four."

No Video Replay Available. Racing UK seem to have lost more than half the races on the day.

Update 2nd June - Video replay now available & Run Notes to follow. Tussie Mussie ran differently to reports. A little unsettled in the stalls and lost 2L on the break, recovered ok but then lot some ground after 2f perhaps through greenness. But, never really going forward or going the pace comfortably. Hung right & left at times in the last 2.5f and Fallon settled for just trying to get there to plug on in a straight line. Which he mostly achieved until a late fade and got to a never involved 4th. [Drops back to 5f NTO from a good draw at BVLY but nees to show more natural zip to use that. Note the comments from Deidre Johnson on May 31st at SDWN about how the stable horses seem to often run poorly at York (since the drainage work) including a poor Dante meeting and how she dreads going to York now. And, seems to have her excuses to owners used well before races are even run at the course. See how TM goes at BVLY.]

Another York race with extended margins at the finish, a lot of the horses getting unbalanced at various stages, very early fades and a lot of hanging. Some of this might be the wide range of abilities often on show in York maidens with a longer tail of garbage than might be expected for a 'Top Track'. But the races here do not play out in a 'normal' manner on many occasions.
