SUMMARY

£10k Bonus Race.

GFG from GF 2 days prior. 5mm of watering on Sat & Sun nights, 4mm overnight Mon-Tue in selected areas. Going Stick from 06:45am. Dry for past 10 days at the course after a very wet 6 week period.

Light to Medium Easterly Wind = Crosswind from the Right.

Trainer Duffields Blog = "Red Highlites will have benefitted by her debut experience but will still need more racing experience"

Jockey Allan interviewed after the race and said that Body And Soul was "In the Top 5 of the stable 2yos if not The Top.". Said they had expected her to win FTO at NOTT but she had hung away from the group a bit drawn in centre track then got tired on softer going. Which seems to match up with the Video Review of that race. Market has presumably picked up on some of the 'Top 5' talk on her two runs.

Star Of Rohm looked smaller in group. Never travelling at any stage of the race. Niggled along to try to follow the winner as she cut across from her wide draw but not able to do that comfortably. Niggled at halfway and in trouble by 2F out. Never really stopped but never picked up fully in the last 2F either. Fast Ground on the undulating track an issue? Being taken along faster dropping to 5f?

Market seemed informative for Botanic Garden who should have been at a shorter SP.

Limit Up a short runner in previous races but lasting longer here.

Dream Scenario another competent debut for trainer and mixed pedigree. By a bad sire but by a useful dam who has produced a Listed winning sprinter. Looks to have taken after her dam and a good mover and active in review if smaller type.
