SUMMARY
GF after GGF 2 days prior and course must have missed the swathe of rain that covered much of the country through the previous day. 7mm of watering applied previous Fri. Going Stick reading from 07:00am. Medium NNW Wind = Quarter Tailwind from the Left in the Home Straight and close to a direct tailwind to halfway.

Moderate form and OR60s. Lady Ibrox bigger type in context of this field and not the smaller sprinter type the trainer often has. 5th winner for sire already this year and he has built a career at stud from moderate support early. Hard to spot the imprivement other than the size from LB. Too green FTO from a wide draw to get involved and then they tried to hold her up behind a slow paced 6f STO. She fought that hard with her jockey and plugged on to a remote 3rd but in a weak race. Allowed to lead here and set her own pace and settled well doing that. Solid effort at 2F out for the grade.

Presume Lady Of The House has shown what she can do now and below Open Maiden level. Trainer Ryan often starts one of that type at NMKT rather than a really good one. Unable to match the winner's effort but plugging on again at the finish. Might find a moderate maiden to win but a late OR60s nursery type.

Probably nothing worth following behind although Dark Opal a bit better than a nprmal debut for the trainer. At least check her STO.

A mixed bag of 'issues' behind with Smallbrook Lane in a foul mood at the post. Took umpteen goes to get her loaded and she refused the hood a number of times. Eventually loaded last by the lead handler plus 6 others who all but lifted her in. The only other way to get her in would have been to nail her hooves to a pallet and use a forklift truck. SL then got carried wide by Pippy veering away to the stands rail and then forced into a strong effort by the jockey immediately to try to make the lost ground back. So, some excuses but below medium size and just a so-so effort here and on debut after getting behind. Trainer had won the previous two runnings of he race with OR75+ fillies but this one a lesser type.

Denbigh Raur even smaller and her 3rd on debut was a Volunteer effort and well behind the first 2. Did not respond wearly and got wel behind and only a minor response later. Jockey made a WTRB report saying she was 'Never Travelling'. But a low OR60s nursery type at best.

A bit more interest in whether Roland might have more to show when he gets into nurseries. Due to be ridden by an A5 but Tylicki took over. Never really giong forward fully and Roland looking ouchy and pained when asked to make an effort. Of minor interest because an ok build and not much smaller than LOTH. Check for signs of him growing up and coming into form.

Pippy a small one in this group despite his high price and you can only assume he looked good zipping around 1F on polytrack. Veered to the Stands rail so travelled much further around the bend. Running a competent race once there until fading and eased. But, not one to follow and Wayne Rooney must be enjoying this horse owning palaver no end.
