SUMMARY
£10k Bonus Race.

SGS from GGS 2 days prior. 3mm of rain overnight. Going Stick from 06:45am. Stiff to Strong Westerly Wind = Half Headwind from the Right.

Slow Pace and Final Time and a difficult race to get a handle on. Despite the pace the first 3 pulled well clear and a big gap back to the others with the wide running Art Mistress in a volunteer 4th. Are the first 3 just that much better than the others or some underperforming behind? Tough conditions and you would think there are some 'surprises' out of the Ruck who will prove winners.

Good Debut from Go Angellica who took time to get going and staying on at the finish. Trainer has said she is a bigger and scopier type than her Sibling My Lucky Liz who rated in the OR70s in 2011 at 2yo. Believable that this one is a bit better than that. Rio's Pearl improved effort and trainer Beckett typically starts getting the main bulk of his wins from June on. Occasional earlier wins if the small set of early 2yos he runs can manage that. But, RP seems an OR70s type so why so far clear of the 4th+. RP would have won here but for stalling and hanging left late and not a strong form level. Perhaps vulnerable in Open Maidens with more normal dynamics? Unless the first 3 here were just that much better. Similar view of Cruck Realta who seems the type to be vulnerable in Open Maidens.

A few in the Ruck worth checking. Were Ayr Missile & Curl over-rated in their HYDK runs LTO and this a better reflection of their ability? The distance beaten seems too far for it to be just over-rating. AM ran too freely and perhaps on the worst strip near the Stands' Rail with most fields grouping up Centre track over the 2 day meeting. Worth giving her another chance or is she one of those promising debuts for Ryan that seem not to progress? (Tortoni et al). Check whether she is value NTO.

Worth noting that Eghnaa the worst puller which would be a valid excuse given the 2F of FFH. HundredsNT too green to show what she might be capable of. Breeze VT not that positive but check STO.
