SUMMARY
GSG from S two days prior. 33mm of rain Fri-Sat with Sun-Tue dry. 4mm of rain forecast for the race day. Going Sick reading from 06:30am. Light to Medium WSW Wind = Tailwind.

Meehan website wrt Fantacise = "made a very promising start at Windsor, finishing well after showing initial greenness, but was unable to build on that on this track next time out. Always works nicely and should go better this time."

Average Pace at most with first 5 through Halfway within 1L of the lead and on the Stands-Centre Srip with Chat racing furthest over throughout and left alone near the rail for much of the last 2F with a lot of Hanging Left from the others. Another race at the track with has you wondering about a Stands to Centre Side bias.. A number of the races on the straight course so far have seemed to Fall Apart in an unusual way with those racing widest Fading too early to be just lack of ability and the visual effect of the Stands' Side set of any Field finishing the race off Ok while the Far Side folds early. How much of this is just an illusion and searching for excuses for beaten horses? Look at the Draws here and those 6-10 (Stands-Cent starting point) filled the first 5 places and those 1-5 (Centre-Far Side) the last 5. BUT, not as simple as that because Mixed Message Switched over right to be in the Centre to Stands' Side group early on. That left a weak set on the far side other than Dreamily who had looked like a 'Far Side' lottery loser here LTO. Dreamily rearing in the stalls and held by a handler so that might have affected her. But, again fading very early. Is she really that bad? In Review she looks OR70+.

Weak group on the Far Side otherwise so perhaps just causing the visual effect. Delores Rocket seemed a 3TO ride getting ready for nurseries quietly. Schottische might be as bad a this looked but outpaced before halfway? Another to check, along with Dreamily, for better in future. Will Schottische blossom in nurseries or is her attitude just too bad? Millie N Aire very fit and ready and seemed to raise a solid effort given she was racing widest of the first 5 home. But, The field racing more Stands Side overall than previous races so she will still stands side of Centre track. Perhpas OR60s.

The simpler view is to put that to one side as a possible angle for finding, or 'post' explaining improvement of those behind the Garbage Gap. Chat & Strictly Silca ahead of the Changeover Point. Trainer Gosden often batches up better types for debut so is Chat a better one to go with Newfangled? Less taking debut than that one and perhaps a bias advantage. See how she goes in higher level. SSilca green early and hanging left late but looks solidly OR75+. Fantacise probably just behind the CPoint alhtough lasting longer here before fading and hanging left.

Mandy Lexi got a soft lead and tried to wind the pace up 2.5F out but still not enough to stop the real Open Maiden types goinf by her comfortably with Chat taking the lead off her just by the way she travelled. MLexi perhpas OR60s and nursery type.
