Going changed to Good after this race as the first of the day. Back to GS as it was 2 days prior after S the previous day. Going Stick = 8.7 centre, 8.6 Far Side & 8.3 Stands Side.

Stiff SW Wind = Half Headwind from the Left.

Channon jockeys = Harley (CIcin), Moore (Fadeetc), Buick (Effie B) & Davies (Cruck Realta).

Paul Cole about his 2yos on June 16th = "We have not got many runners at Ascot this year, the two year olds haven't really found their form, mainly because of the ground. Carlton Blue, who we like, will not run until the ground is back to normal. Composed will wait until the Nurseries are out. St Paul De Vence has been entered for the Chesham at Ascot on Saturday. He needs a run, we like him a lot and he may be heading for the July Meeting at Newmarket. Puteri Nur Laila who finished 2nd at Lingfield on Saturday has been working really well at home, stupidly they didn't move the turf races to the All Weather track for that meeting. Most trainers are fed up with silly results created by bad ground at the Racecourse. York's valuable sprint looked more like the end of a four mile chase at Cheltenham, the ground at York has been unpredictable for the last four years."

Very Slow pace for first 1F and most of field held to some extent. Picked up a little in the 2nd furlong as The Sixties pulled to front. Probably Average Pace sround halfway then overall Race Pressure increased by The Sixties kicking the final efforts off just inside 3F out. Cruck Realta travel best of prominent runners again & 3-4L ahead of Tha'ir through halfway. Zanetto ok medium size and build and flashy ok mover but pulled much too hard again.
