SUMMARY

Going Sick from 16:15pm. Medium to Light SSW Wind = Mostly Crosswind from the Left, Slight Headwind.

Slow Pace and a Slow time and barely a 2F sprint at the finish. Maureen a smaller, ready, sprinter and not standing out. Both Martina's Delight & Magical Rose bigger for example. A niggle and caveat over the quality of the opposition she put away here but showed something a bit different in the way she did it. Got to the lead out 1.5F out with the jockey sitting still just on her natural pace. Went clear partly held by the jockey rather than being asked for an effort. Presumably one of those complete sprinters who lack scope but compete well at 2yo. Hairy Rocket another example who finished 3rd in the Queen Mary for Hannon but got blown away by more long term types in France NTO. See how she goes NTO because the hype will be bigger than what she achieved here. Perhaps drop back to extended 5f for the Supersprint?

Bigger field versions of the race have produced varying numbers of subsequent winners and mainly at Auction level and maiden wins rare. Unexciting group behind here and perhaps see how Magical Rose develops.
