SUMMARY

2nd Race of Meeting which was abandoned after 4 races were run because of a cloudburst that left the Parade Ring underwater and flooded some of the racecourse buildings.

Average to Slower pace and race run 3.5s faster than the preceding Novice. Novice field raced Centre Track and slightly far side. This field split into two with TH & AC going across to the Stands' Rail and the other three racing together 10-12 lanes off the Stands' Rail.

Unsinkable another expensive one for the Penman M'ship and would have been one of a set of expensive one Debuts at York recently but an NR because 'Stiff'. Meadim but deep and bulky one and seen as a 7-8f developer by trainer. Comfortable win here without being asked to do much and just using his cruising speed for the most part. Staying on well at finish to confirm the distance view. OR80+ and see how much higher he can go.

Vegas Belle travelled 2nd best and a bigger type then expected in review. Ok effort at 2f out in relation to the others behind her at the finish. Hard to place form but later OR60 type?

No particular interest in the other three with Tiger's Home at a false price after moderate to poor form including the last place. Blown away at 2F out and hanging. Had a realistic OR61 before this but perhaps OR50s.

Angels Calling a smaller medium type and not one to follow on that and llow OR60s at best. Given an odd ride in being hauled back in centre track to cross behind the field then make an effort to go over to the stands' rail and sit 2nd. Better effort than TH at 2f out.
