SUMMARY

S by race time. SGS from GSS with 3mm in morning and further showers forecast. Going Stick from 06:00am.

Stiff SSW Wind = Half Headwind from the Left

Slow time & set of three small fillies went off too hard in soft ground and fading between 2F to 1F out. PIExile did best of those fillies but small and no scope. Has an OR70 which is too high and 12 months from now probably closer to OR50 than OR70. Trainer Foster interviewed before and realistic saying he thought PIE should do best of those with previous runs but there would probably be something better in the newcomers. MGem a pont and running too free and gone by 2F out. Hellolini OR60 and middling fade among the three fillies with form and middle of the ability and OR60 perhaps close to what she and PIE actaully are.

Set up meant that two slightly bigger newcomers who sat off the pace were able to run past tired small ones to win. Strictly Ballroom raady fro day and probably OR60s & leak into OR70s but not a strong prospect in overall average maidens. But this field might assemble again as a northern nursery so hard to say she cannot win again. Megamunch a competitive OR60s one and hampered early on but that perhaps a help because it got him behind the pace having shown the typical stable fizziness in the Prelims. The sort the stable usually win with and see how the fizzy attitude goes STO.

Jordanstown also hampered early but unable to cloe much into the three fading smalle fillies. Never appearing to travel smoothly and WTRB report said he was unsuited to the Soft going.
