SUMMARY

GF from G two days prior but rain forecast from late afternoon. 2mm of rain overnight after 15mm spread across the previous week. Going Stick reading = 12:30pm. Stands' Side 8.7 and Far Side a softer 7.4.

Stiff SSW Wind = Quarter Tailwind from the Left.

Snow Angel drawn Centre Track but had a mostly comfortable tiome in getting across to the Stands' Rail which is usually a bit of Magic Carpet on GF at the track. Others mostly racing off the rail including the two Godolphin runners who raced together widest in centre track in brainless bits of jockeyship. Both Second Strings for Godolphin on day in 2yos races did best including a 10/1 win. Pair here smaller type racing on the wrong bit of the track and the first string even greener than the Second. Bint Youmzain looked ok FTO prospect for this type of race. But too green overall and then hampered when trying to make ground near the rail inside the last 2F.

Snow Angel one of two winners on the day from a NOTT maiden that the Paddock Reviewer didn't like much. Perhaps the filthy weather on the day had got to them. But this probably a low level win helped by some Magic Carpet. Group win on day takes a bit more sweeping under the carpet. Perhaps just sack the reviewer.
