SUMMARY

£10k Bonus Race.

GS as it had been two days prior. Going Stick reading from 06:30am. Stalls Stands' Side.

Light Westerly Wind = Half Headwind from the Left.

Solid pace set by DPrince & NBull hooking up around the bend and stretching the field out. Settled the pace in the straight around halfway but then strong efforts by 2F out and race appeals as an above average maiden at the front. Pace found out the bigger, boaty gallopers like FPress & GTBoss and both lacking the pace and perhaps nous of the better ones up front. Noble Bull put under enough pressure to not get home and left behind by the later race efforts of the first three home anyway and they are presumably just better horses.

DPrince backed up the positive view of his 2nd here LTO over 6f and a strong performance here. Ran too free wide of NB on the bend but still able to produce a solid effort. Jockey got too confident in the last 0.5f and started easing down and almost caught on the line.

Steeler a medium and balanced one by Raven's Pass and very strong and moves well. Some hype that he was a better one and ran well enought o suggest he will be OR90+. Got a bit behind on the bend through lack of nous but, unlike GTB & FP, able to make that ground back and do it convincingly. Had to switch off the rail between 2f out to 1f out to centre track to make his final effort. Strong finish and going on best at that point and nearly caught the eased leader. Ought to be ok to follow.

Also a good effort from Arlecchino is closing up to the leaders towards 2F out and then matching the winner's effort fro 1F+. Ok Promise and ougtht obe solidly OR75+.
