SUMMARY
 £10k Bonus Race.

G as it had been two days prior. Going Stick Reading from 09:00am.

Medium to Stiff Southerly Wind = Mostly Crosswind from Left, Slight Headwind.

Field raced Wide Spread with a alrge initial group lead by Woodlands Way on the Centre to Stands strip. Nothing close to the Stands Rail. Pearl Sea taken to race Centre early and then Centre to Far Side and leading Malilla & Red Four in indian file behind her. With this trio set the larger group started to spread out to Centre track by Halfway with Cross Pattee & Delphica part of the Centre to Far Side group by halfway.

Tarara seemed to make real forward effort until getting tired and an ok size, Looked like real promise. Arbaah 10L+ back at halfway and given a quiet ride. Plugging on through faders to the finish and less size than Tarara. Seems less likely to be real promise?

Why the 'failures' by CP, Hasbah & BY? Cross Pattee perhaps ran too freely and jockey unable to drop-in in wide spread field. Dropping back from nearly getting 7F LTO. Gone before 1F out here. Hasbah comes from a suspect race on debut run in a very slow pace. Jockey Spencer made a bad move on her at YARM rather than sitting with the pace. But that 'effort' suspect given the circumstances and this perhaps as good as she is? Worth noting trainer PWC-Hyam part of an ATR feature currently and has said Hasbah should be ok if 'the jockey holds on to her properly'. That said before this run. Bint Youmzain hampered FTO but in a weak race and not really picking up the leaders there comfortably anyway. Pushed along before 2F out to go the pace here and not moving that well. Soon fading and eased. Better than showed here but probably not worth 8/1 in this field on her actual ability.
