SUMMARY
GGF by 12:30 after morning showers and Going Stick 8.3 from 8.5. GFG as it had been 2 days previously and Going Stick reading from 07:00 for an Evening Meeting and with 3mm of watering planned for the Home Straight during the Morning. Why no do the Going Stick in late Afternoon?

Fast Conditions on the Day.

Lizzie Tudor staying on at the finish. Back to normal service with Balding runners at the track making the first 2.

Imperial Spirit had advantage of prominent racing in usable pace despite fast time. Not convince as Open Maiden level.

Better types to follow behind IS with Flow top of the list. Bigger type and rangy and flashy. Did a lot wrong with a slow start, being green throughout the race and making some ground in the straight despite not handling the camber and hanging left for much of the straight. Looks OR80+ and ok to follow.

Grey Blue looks a bigger stayer, or 8f at least, despite the pedigree although the early fade here might suggest he did not stay. Perhaps just a weak frame at present so faded. See whether he develops as an 8f+ stayer with racing or drops in trip. Does not appeal as a speed type.
