SUMMARY

Direct Tailwind in the Home Straight, mostly Crosswind from Right down the Hill.

Fast conditions and settled down to a usable pace and difficult to make ground in Straight withthe tailwind and no change in first 5 places halfway to the line. Difficulty in making ground exacerbated the ground lost at the start by some runners and then not getting into the competitive front half of the race before the efforts int he straight.
