SUMMARY

GGS from GSG two days prior. 16mm rain on Sat, 7mm of rain Sun then dry to Tues AM. Going Stick reading from 05:45am.

Medium WSW Wind = Quarter Tailwind from the Left.

As with the preceding 2yo race on the card the Leaders went too hard and the pace was too strong. Our Diane & La Sylphe hooking up early and pressing on together with the 3rd through halfway 5L back and the handicap field spead over 10L. OD seemed to press on more before 2F out and gone before the last 1F.

La Sylphe effort seemed a good run given the race shape and dividing horses that were 5L & 9L behind her at halfway in a race that set up for closers. Towards 2F out seemed to losing tabs on ODiane and likely to fade. But responded well to head that filly then respond further to Dusty Storm.
