GF from G two days prior and 4mm of Watering on Fri after racing. Stiff ESE Wind = Three-Quarter Headwind from the Left. Field raced Stands Rail then spread out in last 2F with some getting out to Centre Track. Slow Pace set by SLM on rail and she plugged on looking the stayer she is. Two higher class fillies with something different in terms of quality and some change of pace able to separate themselves from the rest despite the 2F+ Sprint nature of the finish. Reyaadah able to get to front of others for 3rd but hanging left and a bit head up and perhaps better on less firm surface. Hills comment on their website = "Reyaadah ran well to be third in the Sweet Solera. Paul said she was a little bit keen going to post and was in the race too. We'll try and settle her down at home, but she is a filly full of potential and is really only a frame at the moment. ." |
