Peculiar race to watch with a set of 4 in the prominent positions but not appearing to set a stiff pace. Pair with experience leading a pair of newcomers. Leaving aside Mace The Ace who hung on best of the prominent runners the first 6 home were in midfield+, in the same order, at halfway between 3-8L off the lead and mostly trundled through together as the leaders broke up. IJ making about 1L on FF & Faithfilly and TNT making 1L+ on Faithfilly with a 'galloper' run (4 white socks) up the centre.
