SUMMARY

GSS from GS 2 days prior. 6mm of rain overnight. Going Stick reading from 11:45am on day. Medium to Strong SW Wind = Crosswind from the Right.

Race seemed to 'Fall Apart' with all of the fillies, apart from Dream Vale, fading by 1F out and some well before and the other 6 walking by the finish. DV seemed to pull out 7L win just by running competently, under control and seeing out 5f fully rather than fading strongly as was the fashion. DV ran 0.05s slower than Mad Jazz (carried 2lbs more) won the seller in at the last meeting on the same official GSS with the Going Stick reading 0.2 'firmer' for this meeting. Mad Jazz won with more of a tailwind but during a rainy afternoon. Pace too stiff here and many limited fillies running inefficient races in various ways. SA a pace pressing short-runner the trainer seems to get. LB smaller type and not taking and clueless with it and adding hanging badly to the issues. UIS seemed to pack it in. NTP from a trainer who does not get strong debuts and this sort of run typical. TRoses probably had a draw bias help on debut and achieved a poor rating and unlikely to improve given the way the trainer gets them ready FTO. Smaller type anyway. Taken on for the lead here well bedore halfway by SA and broken early by that. Although again showed a willing attitude in plugging on best of the faders although tired. Pixilated looked the best type in a small group aside from the winner but found little after travelling OK. Trainer does get strong debuts which is a niggle for this effort. Check STO.
