Hannon website before the race = "With Richard Hughes banned, Ryan Moore rides Strong Suit, with Jimmy Fortune coming in for the ride on Libranno, and Ryan also rides Victrix Ludorum for us in the opener. 'She is a lovely racey filly who is owned by Julie Wood, and we are looking forward to getting her started, ' said the boss."

Read race as a Slow pace and barely a 2F sprint. This Division 1.32s slower than Div II. Field raced Centre but then drifted to Stands Rail from halfway and on rail before 2F out. This meant diffiuclties for some in behind leading line and not able to make efforts on wing of field to find gap to get through. Tantshi had to wait and only just got a run on the rail in time to be able to make the 1.5L back on the leaders by the line. Abated starting from further back and a bit green in the last 2F. Perhaps travelling best 2F out but took time to find gap then had her run along the rail in the last 1F halted by the winner going across in front of her to use it to make her late run. Abated a deal better than 6th and [Est] suggests.
