SUMMARY
 GSG again by race time with Clerk not updating the BHA site. GGS from GSG two days prior. 5mm of rain on Sun. Going Stick reading from ??.

Medium WSW Wind = Direct Tailwind.

In 2010-11 the usable 2yos have debuted earlier than this for trainer DH Brown. Why was Beach Club's debut delayed? Report of Brown's interview after the race = "It wasn't a surprise he won," said ... Brown, ..... "I've thought a lot about him for a long time - everything was right for him and we were ready to go. He's shown that he's a very nice horse for the future. He just started hanging and he (Mullen) let him run across. He's that sort of horse - he likes to look at things - and he'll get better so quickly. He's got the potential to be a good bit better than that (a nursery horse)."

Anderton cost £90k as a 2yo but hard to see where that price came from looking at his Breeze video. To the point of rechecking the Video and price because they just do not match, Mentally young and Weaker in Front, Hangs Left early and takes time to get into the breeze. Then a staccato breeze with odd few strides of going straight at full speed mixed in with bouts of veering LH with his head up to the point of being unrideable. Perhaps looking at the markers showing the lane on the grass. Some pace when going in an unfocussed way but just a compact, medium to smaller ready type of his sire. Baffling.



Strongest effort sin last 2F from first 2 home with a plus for GRooke as racing centre track and got to 2nd from well back before the last 1F. Beach Club went on tour of course starting in Centre Track and getting to lead Stands' Rail then hanging left for much of last 2F (just clearing GR towards the last 0.5F) to finish on the Far Rail. 3rd & 4th home comfortable runs through race and unable to match efforts of first two in last 2F and just plugging on from good starting points to put some space on the lesser ones behind but looking like real quality stratification filtering through.
