GF on most of Course from GFG two days prior. Good patches in back straight. 4mm of rain on Sat and 7mm of watering on Sun on Straight. Going Stick reading from 06:00am.

Stiff to Strong Southerly Wind = Headwind in Back Straight, Half Tailwind from Right in Home Straight.

Charlton website wrt Rockpool = "Rockpool is a half sister to Waterclock and three other winners from the family of Spout. She is an attractive good moving filly but like Alerted she will probably need the experience."

Bell website = "HARTWRIGHT and he looked better on his last start at Folkestone and should keep improving."

Notably slow pace and final time 1.84s slower than Div I. First 3 at halfway able to get there from slow starts, wide draws, veering LH, or whatever by a comfortable jog given the lack of anyone wanting to take the pace on. Meanwhile, what is Spencer doing on Hartwright given this is a very slow race? Hauling him back hard as he broke out of the stalls and doing it unevenly so the horse hangs right and bumps another and then Spencer continues to haul him back. Usual mindless stuff from Spencer just following his one-track plan and unable to take any different action depending upon what others arte doing.
