SUMMARY

Light to Medium SW Wind = Direct Headwind Back Straight & Direct Tailwind Home Straight.

Slow Pace and a notably slow time. Race turned into barely a 2F sprint and first two horses into the CH best placed for that sprint. TItus Titan moved up to join Grandorio into the straight for the final efforts and managed to gain 0.5L by the line with Grandorio hanging lef tint he fianl 0.5f. Obviously hard to make ground behind and Pippy, for example, effectively hauled out of being able to contest the race in the first 50yds after the stalls opened. Given the race shape the one horse that made a bit more ground than would be expected was Cheektocheek. 2.5L back at halfway and closing ont he leader son the finish and got the gap down to 1L at the line after racing more centre track. But, CTCheek a bit lightly made compared to bulkier ones in field. Real promise at current OR or better suited to a 2f sprint?
