Stiff NW Wind = Quarter Headwind from the Right. Temperature not expected to get above 7 degrees C all day. Notably slow time and presumably testing ground in the headwind. Opt Out a typical free-running leader and fading in the last 1F because of that. But, just a similar effort to Princess In Exile before the fade and she also ran a little freely. She is OR60s in the real view so is Opt Out below Open Maiden class. Negative mark for the group of runners than finished in a heap behind Lady Phill at LNGA. See how the others go NTO. Lasila bigger than PIExile and ok mover with some range. Given attcking ride from wide draw in same race as PIE on debut and faded for that. More restrained here after being a bit green early and a comfortable win. OR70s type. OBOBoy led TP and very green throughout. Got unbalanced at various points but never actually faded. Closed up a bit on the 2nd & 3rd in the last 1F. Nothing proved about ability. Might be usable lower OR60s. Finalise the first foal of a 5f 2yo winner for Smart. Smaller, nest type like here dam and OR60s type if she is usable. Green here and never going forward comfortably on the downhill section and the jockey always niggling away. Seemed to stumble and then slip in the dip before the climb and partly because she was never going in a blancedway. |
