SUMMARY

GF with 2mm of rain overnight following watering as 8mm on Sat, 6mm on Sun & 3mm on Mon. Going Stick reading from 09:15am as 8.1 Stands Side and 7.7 Far Side.

Stiff WNW Wind = Three-Quarter Tailwind from Left.

Stiff pace with, from the Rail out, Vestibule, Empowerment & Grilletto hooking up as a Lo3 after 0.5f. Break of 3L rom them at halfwaith with BIntrigue on the rail niggled along. Most of others racing wide of race and spread back an driven along to some extent. Fossa drawn close to rail but slow to get going at start and never travelling properly despite running nearest to rail of outpaced set spread back. Silk Fairy also drawn near rail but jockey quiet overall and allowing her to hang right away from rail early.

Grilletto at disadvantage running widest of Lo3 which left the bigger and more powerful Empowerment to prove he is ahead of his OR mark and master Vestibule (racy type lacking scope and not really proven over a hard run 6f) despite running a lane wider from the rail.
