GFF as it had been two days prior. 8mm in total applied during Mon-Tue. Going Stick reading from 08:00am.

Medium to Stiff WNW Wind = Half+ Headwind from Right Home Straight.

Odd race to watch with Pipers Note going abruptly left out of the widest stall and disappearing out of shot. Doesn't reappear until 0.5F+ gone and well adrift of the others. Gets onto the Group by 2F out but then takes time to find a path through. Strong looking finish in last Furlong and assisted in win by Anderton going from being 2L clear in the last 1F to veering Left to the Stands' Rail and losing the lead. PN probably would have picked him off anyway. But, a slow time and 1.34s SLOWER than the earlier Selling Nursery. Piper's Note assited in win by a slow pace and moderate opposition or did the main group go too hard and he was picking his way through tired 'Trees' int he last 1f and more?
