Medium Easterly Wind = Half Headwind from the Left.

Slow pace and final time. 6f Novice event 60 minutes later run in 73.8s carrying 5lbs more than this winner. Last race on Card an App Handicap won in 73.53s by an OR69 4yo (by 2.5L) carrying 4lbs less.

Slow pace and Halfway Positions to final placings do not really reflect that. Field compressed into 5-6L at halfway and closed up to 2F by less than that for the competitive ones. The first 7 home in a ruck at the finish with first 3 home having made the best forward efforts as the Halfway positions suggest. These better moves all made closer to the rail and those wider out perhaps at a disadvantage.

hHannon's website after the race = "With all of our two year olds to date requiring a run before losing their maiden tag, it was hugely encouraging that Jon and Julia Aisbitt's SANDREAMER managed to win at the very first attempt.... 'A lovely filly this who's bred to be sharp and obviously being able to win first time up is encouraging when taking into account the amount of improvement we like to see from them on their second outings. She's mentally very straightforward and Jon & Julia are quite rightly very ambitious. I'd imagine we'll be looking at Royal Ascot, probably the Albany and I wouldn't hesitate to go straight there now.'"
