SUMMARY

G as it had been two days prior. 0.5mm of rain overnight. Going Stick reading from 10:00am as 7.5 Stands, 7.2 Centre & 7.3 Far Side..

Medium WNW Wind = Close to Direct Tailwind.

Far Course in use and Stalls Stands side with wide spread. Small Group raced slightly separate in Centre led by Red Avenger.

Average Pace to Halfway but with Red Avenger moving up soon after halfway Fallon on Royal Skies up the pace on the Stands' Rail which meant a notably extended second half of race effort and a good test of available power and early fades from the weaker ones. wide spread but duelling clear of a hard working Hoarding from 3F out. Hoarding clear in 4th well before 1F out and the rest plugging on as best they could. Hoarding caught a bit behind and on back hoof when efforts went and solid effort despite that. Millers Wharf always looked unable to kick, and perhaps stiff and moderate mover over shorter distances. Held up at back here and out of race but staying on ok.
