G as it had been for the previous two days of the meeting. Going Stick reading from 10:00am as 7.7 Stands, 7.8 Centre & 7.6 Far Side. Far Side course in use. Stiff WNW Wind = Close to Direct Tailwind. Stalls Far side but wide spread. Field split into two Groups earl with Rosdhu Queen taken over to lead overall on the far rail with two others in line behind her. Main Group raced much wider in Centre track but beginning to drift over to Far Side by halfway. Fast conditions on day with the tailwind and this not a quick time in context. Usable pace and both Group raced showed a positive bias towards racing prominently and difficult to make ground against leaders going a usable pace. |
