GGS from SGS two days prior. Going Stick reading from 09:30am as Far Side 8.1, Stands Side 8.4 but 7.8 overall.

Stiff to Strong SW Wind = Quarter Headwind from Left in Home Straight, Tailwind on Ridge.

Slow pace and a 2F+ Sprint and, as ever, difficult to run down a leader unless they have gone fast enough to fade. Gabrial's Kaka joined the wobbling leader at the turn to straight and then made his effort around 2F out to go 2L clear of JNibras. Got a bit unbalanced and looking raw and green around 1F out but responded to driving to get balanced and rolling again. Notably bigger and scopier than JN (a typical solid bigger Hannon 2yo, but still more '2yo'). GK looks a good prospect for a 3yo developer despite his dam's record. JN 3L back into the straight and able to make that 2L before 2F out. Beaten around the same at the line and appeared to stay in a slow race. Linguine an easy lead but unbalanced on the turn to straight and not able to match efforts of first 2 at 2F out. But responded and plugged on ok to be hanging with them at the line. Looks a stayer for 10f+ at 3yo.
