SUMMARY

Medium WSW Wind = Half Tailwind from Left Home straight.

Clear win for Smart Spender but race fell apart in various ways and not strong form. Fast Conditions on day and this race 0.19s slower than following Nursery won by 'OR72' carrying 1lbs more than this winner. Almost a race you could pick the winner from the shortest four in the betting on a 'Vageuly Reliable' basis. Very hard to trust Mick Easterby 2yos to run two races the same so Hoofalong a negative and already a bust STO following an ok debut (not unusual). MTM a Shaw runner so a negative on that alone. Jenkins a bit more reliable but OJ unproven on surface and moderate form to date. Which leaves the Blockley STO (aka Hughes) as the most reliable.

NOTE :- Dixon trained pair did NOT run in the Colors they declared pre-race. Robyn ran in the normal DIxon 1st Colours and Con Leche in a dark purple number with a single large pink V.
