SUMMARY

SGS as it had been two days prior. 5mm of rain in previous 24hrs to early am. Going Stick reading from 07:00am.

Medium NNW Wind = Three-Quarter Headwind from Left.

Field raced Centre track but with a Wide Spread and either 'Wing' well towards rail on each side. Pace not that strong and barely 5L Front to Back at Halfway. Lack of strong pace also shown by slower starters able to get well into group by halfway - Baddilini & Jillnextdoor good examples as two of slowest starters, and 'midfield' together at halfway around 3L off Hototo's lead.

Typical 'Shape' of field for RDCR with the Arrowhead racing off Hototo's centre track lead. Despite the average pace those on the extremes of either wing losing a bit of ground and riven along by halfway, notably Avec Rose & Strange Magic far side after quick breaks had seem them leading line early. Rich Forever the stands side equivalent. Interesting to note the Draws of the first 6 home and all Centre track runners, as was Jillnextdoor having blwon the break badly enough to have a choice of where she slotted in. Just a coincidence, or function of pace bias in Arrowhead formation, or some positive in running Centre Track?
