Light ENE Wind = Three-Quarter Headwind from Right in the Home Straight. Meeting In Paris & My Trust good examples of well drawn horses giving away that positive by jockeys being clever and trying to find a 2R spot. Both jockeys inactive early and caught out by a rolling trio of XFrs which left MIP & MT at the back on the rail. MIP either something wrong or not liking kickback and trying to pack it in around the bend and needind a hard ride to respond at all in the straight. My Trust then having to pick her way through the field on the far rail in the straight including getting squeezed by the fadingIlsa Lund inside the last 1F. Which left wide drawn pair that got 2R to fight out the finish off a slower pace. Why would Rebelde be a 33/1 shot. She cost 45k and her Breeze video shows a usable lengthy type of her sire. If she were trained by someone more fashionable she would have been vying for favourite on that billing in this field. The first debut for the trainer, returning this year after several years of retirement, was supported and finished 3rd despite a green run. Why 33/1 here? |
