Rain before and during this race. Surface water and horses kicking up big divots. Going Changed to Heavy before the 3rd race, this Race 1. Soft as it had been two days prior. 3.5mm of rain Monday. Going Stick reading from 06:30am.

Medium to Stiff ENE Wind = Direct Tailwind on Ridge, Half Tailwind from Left Home Straight.

Field came across to Stands Side downhill. Leading pair at Halfway increased the pace on that downhill switch inside 3F out and 3L clear of others, who were all driven along and unable to find the pace on the going. Front pair hooked up and duelling before 2F with Gigawatt on the rail and NM outside him. Nenge Mboko looking at Gigawatt througout the last 1.5F and mainting a consistent neck behind him as if Happy to finish behind the other horse. NM appeared to have more to give.

David's Secret a solid physical type and still green here and not helped by loose going and conditions. Worth another chance. Vergality plugged on from last in the final final 1F, off the rail, past the 3 wortst faders without being involved in any meaningful way.

Gigawatt entered for claimers before and after this race and an NR in both. Poor quality judgement by the trainer or some sort of 'ploy'?
