Strong Pace with BOBoy taking off down the Stands' Rail and only Fils Anges also running the rail and able to go comfortably off pace. Other 4 racing wide of rail and niggled along and fading early. BOB stalling by 2F out and just inside and race setting up for Fils Anges to plug on past faders looking better than he is. Also the sort of race that makes Spencer look good with his usual hold-up style and enables people to 'forget' about the pile of failures of that approach in less helpful race set-ups.

Why is Star Maid performing so poorly? More bulk and power than her results would suggest. Possibly a short-legged type lacking range and a stiff mover within what range she has. Inefficient movement meaning the power in unusable and so she is a short-runner?
