SUMMARY

Light to Medium WNW Wind = Slight Tailwind from Left in Home Straight.

Stiff Pace and a Faster time and 1.63s faster than Div I. Sennockian Star running freely and dragging field along in string of 'pairs' over 12L+ bythe turn to the home bend with a number of field niggled along at times to hold positions in the BS. Pace not suicidal though and SStar only overhauled inside the last 1F by the best of the 2R to Midfield runners who finished the race off ok. Those losing places after halfway made up of SStar who is an ok size and going a bit too hard here and can do better. Baltic Prince a small one who went too hard and faded notably. This Is Nice who was niggled along for much of the race just to hold her midfield spot on the rail. Worth pondering whether the Rail is 'Dead' at present and running off it a better prospect. Winner ran Lane 1 here with nothing inside and making ground away from rail on bend, as Glossy Posse did, has been a good tactic recently. A Walk another poor run from a Kirk 2yo and his performance stats since 2009 make grim reading and this season no better. Poor crops of 2yos or other problem?

The Obvious Choice's set-up 4TO nursery win means that trainer Williams, not really interested in 2yo racing, had now won with 2 of the 3 Qatari owned juveniles he has run. The other one he took off their hands, or was given, and presumably identified as a limited one.
