Medium SW Wind = Direct Tailwind in Home Straight. Spencer typically incapable of getting a competent break out of a 2yo and set HK a very hard task but the horse almost got Spencer out of the hole the jockey had put them in. What was jockey Baker playing at on Sewn Up? Worth looking at this ride and his one on Anjuna Beach later in the week. In both cases he puts all his energy, the little he expends, in ensuring the horse is put out of the race before the Home Straight then does nothing. In either case if you looked at them later having been told that they were part of some investigation then things would not look good for the jockey. |
