- 2005 foal, 16.0hh. Owner bred by Coolmore and trained in Ireland by Aiden O'Brien. Dam a Gp1 juvenile winner in Ireland and has also produced Irish Gp3 winner Queen Cleopatra. As a juvenile won two of his four starts in a 7f maiden in May at Gowran Park followed by the 6f Group Coventry Stakes from Swiss Franc. Placed later in the 6f Group 1 Phoenix Stakes and then third in the 7f Group 2 Futurity Stakes behind New Approach and Curtain Call.
- As a 3yo won 4 of his 7 starts, all at Group 1 level over 8f. Began his season with the four wins beginning in the 2,000 and Irish 2,000 Guineas, beating New Approach both times. Then won the St James's Palace Stakes and Sussex Stakes beating Raven's Pass each time. Three later runs finished with second placed defeats to Raven's Pass in the 8f Group 1 QE II Stakes and the 10f Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Classic on a synthetic surface.
- First Season Sire in 2012. At the Ashford Stud in Kentucky in 2011 at a fee of $35,000 having stood at $65,000 in 2009 and $40,000 in 2010. 12 yearlings sold in Europe, from 18 offered, in 2011 for an average of 65,770 guineas. 34 sold in the US, of 46 offered, for an average of 67,469gns.
