- Well bred with his dam a 5.5f Group 1 2yo winner and he is a half brother to the 6f Group 1 winner & sire Anabaa as wells as the French 1,000 Guineas winner Always Loyal.
- Trained in France by C. Head and won six races from 5f to 10f between 2yo to 5yo. Won at Listed and Group 3 level at 2yo then missed his 3yo season and unplaced as a 4yo in France between 5f to 8f. Transferred to US showed improved form stepped up in distance and running on dirt rather than turf. Won twice in US early in 2005 season and then won the supporting 10f race at Nad Al Sheba in Dubai on Dubai World Cup day recording a faster time than American star Cigar did in the main race.
- Retired to stud in 1998 and a solid record with a Group 1 highlight with Irish Derby winner Alamshar. Unusual record with his British raced 2yos with a solid record with small numbers of runner 2002-4 and then a moderate record in 2005 with an increased number of runners. Gets winners at all distances including in early season over 5f. The majority of winners inthe period 2002-5 have been moderate to average quality with the exceptions being Listed 7f winner Lucky Pipit (bred by his owner) and 5f Supersprint winner Siena Gold.
- 32 yearlings sold in 2005 for an average just over 40,000gns. Poor returns given that average with 1 winner from 10 runners in Britain in 2006. 19 yearlings sold for an average over 73,000 in 2006.
