- New trainer for major owner Rob Lloyd in 2009. Mr Lloyd spent a lot of money on a newly built stable complex and employed former trainer D. J. Murray-Smith as his racing advisor and trainer. The 2008 season was a washout with few of his 2yos even running and no success. He parted company with Mr Murray-Smith and in late 2008 was in dispute with the local Council. This was over planning permission for the stables and he was threatening to move to a new location and take the jobs he had created in the area with him. 2009 sees Mr Morris (Pat) training the R. Lloyd horses.
