Botti Jks = SiriguP (Alexanor) & HarleyM (Mannaro). Check Botti record in Winter. Step up in 2yo runners 2012 and increased again this year and prob now in Top 10 by runners. Gaining a wider range of owners as well, including well funded ones. Also worth noting that the Market has seemed to know an awful lot about his better debuts in 2013. 40 x FTOs so far and 6 debuts wins, 5 of which were 7/2 or under and 3rd to 7th in shortest SPs to date. 2nd shortest was Sir Robert Cheval who challenged to win here this month till fading ins-0.5f. Shortest (5/4f) was Goleador in a 4 runner race at LNGA who finished second and unplaced in 2 x subs runs at 14/1 & 8/1. Which makes the point the Market is short of knowledge even with stables with overall 'leanings' to communicating with it. Another exmaple being the other debut winner - Our Generation - who won at 12/1 but put up the sort of performance on debut at KTNA which suggested he must be Listed+ class. Worth noting that jk Sirigu gets few other rides and around 30 for whole season but trusted with a recent Botti STO winner. But, Harley is presumably first choice and seems to be riding a lot for Botti (& less for Channon who seems to fall out with every jk except Hitchcott in the end). Most notably Harley rode the Gp1 winner of the Prix Royal Oak for Botti the preceding weekend.

Second Step OB by 'Merry Fox Stud'. Stud owned by Craig Bennett who sold his stake in his 'Phones4u' business for £73M. Soon get through that with thoroughbreds. One of a number of people around in recent years buying up broodmares for high prices to build a 'broodmare band' for his Stud. Other egs are the Bamfords, Rothschilds & Nurlan Bizakov. Add in the long active and newer Arab connections and an expensive game for Bennett to get into.
