S as on Decs. 1.5mm rain overnight. GStick 10:00am. Stands Side course in use. Stalls Far Side 13DegC. Medium- SSW Wind = Mostly X-Wind from Right. Stalls FrSd and field formed up on Stds Sd with 10-12 Lne Spread. Consistent pace to past Hf which slowly put weaker ones under pressure. Pace Incr by-3f and Extended efforts produced a solid test with first 3 home pulling well clear of others by-1f and Loving Home just starting to stall there and 2-3L off other pair and fading back last 1f to hide some of the -3f to -1f promise. No immediate promise from the others and all left behind to be Ldg3 from-2f in.. Worth noting that as well as kicking up divots there appeaed to be a Kickback spray for first half od race with field racing as a group. What was that? |
