SUMMARY

GF from G on Decs. Notes say "Sand Slitting Drainage work on 5f Chute to 4f pole has been slow to recover." GStick 07:00am.

10DegC. Stiff SSE Wind = Direct Headwind in Chute & 3/4 Headwind from Left after.

Stalls oddly placed on Far Rail in Chute so even lowest drawn of 8 had to run diagonally to some extent to reach the rail. Mid & High Dawn TN & Robynelle formed up as LdgPr and forcing XF after 1f+. TN niggled along to complete move to rail. Pace 1+.

Interesting set of Hf-Fin Positions. Robynelle just hanging on running an efficient race (apart from the pace too strong) and fading in the last 0.5F and just hanging on from 3 x Deep Closers. Those three had all lost ground in the first half of the race then run wide up the Centre of the HS. If any of those had been able to run more efficiently and sit a cmf midfield rather than 4-10L back at Hf then they would have overhauled Robynelle before the line. The 3 horse in 1st 4 thru Hf with the winner all faded earlier or other issues. TN niggled & dv along throughout and making much more effort than Rob to XF. Also then started haging last 2f before fading. Scarboro a slower start but looked too slow and underdone (dev to carry Sz properly) to pick up and fading later anyway (Midgley 2yos on a long losing run = last win Aug 2011 & only 1 in each 2010/11. 0-16 this ssn & best place a -ve rtd 5/7 & best [Est] 10. Not getting best of usable types.). Kindanyce looks to have Att or Phys issue. Got to 2R ok but either refused to pick-up at 2f out or couldn't (SMvAwk) & jk got very active with whip last 1.5f to no response.

Worth noting the effort of She Can Jig who was hooded & held in stalls and a slow start then getting adrift. Did more than just po to Faders in getting to within Timed 2L of leader from "10L Visual back at Hf. Prob ok type.
