SUMMARY

16DegC. Stiff to Strong NE Wind = Half Headwind from Left Downhill. Half Headwind from Right HS.

Baytwon Kestrel a typically ready and drilled McEntee early runner. Broke Well and led early. Settled pace Downhill after establishing lead then a real kick in Str. Cost £400 at an April Brightwells' Sale for all types of horse and the only 2yo there. BK had been accepted for the DPY sales as a 1yo but missed that appointment. McEntee said the Brightwells Ascot sales are a bad place for Sellers but as a buyer he loved them. He said he was the only Trainer there when BK came to be sold. The breeders had made a big mistake in placing BK at that sale. Bigger than Finflash, moves well as a cp & short-neck sprinter. Trainer said he had made enough backing her to make himsellf "Debt Free" for the first time in 15yrs of training. Hard to believe given the SP. A week later McEntee said he had offers for her from abroad but wwas keeping her for the QMary.

Finflash able to outkick FM by 1-2L but left bhd in HS by BK and not finish race off & small, neat FMedici closing again. Vallila green but smaller medium and not a clean mover, esp F.
