SUMMARY

[General Note :- Ayr due to run Maidens at their meetings on 4th & 5th June with both £10k bonus events. Because of Ground problems both days were run on the 'Hurdle Track' and no 2yo races. On this day there was no race shorter than 9f so presumably the Sprint track unusable and the Hurdles track inside that & no sensible way to run 5-6f races. ]

20DegC. Medium Easterly Wind = 1/4 Headwind from Left BS, Helpful Bend, 1/4 Tailwind from Right HS.

Pace barely 0 and jog mid-race around bend. But, pace picked up a bit before 2F out and winding up slowly from -2.5f+. Mixed finishing pos from Hf with leading pair at Hf making po Efforts at 2F and HgL to Centre track & prob still 2L clear -1f. RQ prob Bgst and Fre BS & hauled back prob Po last 1F, to Lead past stalling & fdg front Pr in last 0.5f. Good Effort from EHope, despite being a bit small, after a slow start and SInxOv. Rcv Ok to Slower pace but racing 2Wd on Bnd then took time to get going wide in HS, HgR-1.5f and making solid effort out of pack to close towards LdgPr. Might haver got to 2nd without the hanging ang picked up again in Last 1f once balanced.
