GF from GGF on Decs. 3mm watering on Sun to bring total to 23mm since last Wed. GStick = 10:00am.

Rail still out as at recent meetings = 14yds at 6f Starts down to 7yds at finishing line. When are they going to use the full width? [Head-on Shot of HS with Rail out quitr striking, Close to 40% of Width gone and field on rail close to Mid-Track.

15DegC. Light to Medium SE Wind = 1/2 Headwind from Right HS, less of Headwind to Intersection.

3yo Classified race won by OR75 by 1/2L from OR75 in 72.63 carrying 5lbs less. This around OR70 on that.

Pace not the full '2 Pace War' but too strong as Hf/Fin positions suggest. Early pace solid then upped on intersection & those bhd leader scrubbed along and further adrift than ought to have been able to win from. Last 0.5F looked like closers plugging past tired horses. Constantine green in Prelims again and then ran much too freely in race and attended by ISlice. Pair pulling 2L+ clear across intersection. IS able to make effort to lead-2f from Constantine (pulling tired) and then Hung left -1f+ well away from rail and hampering and carrying Constantine with him. Some hints of 'Attitude' from Constantine in last 2F again with HdUp and hanging left again. Still responding a bit late on when hanging back towards rail as if still had something left.

Homestretch PRev picture much better than early season work one. But, well back at Hf and a bit InxOv and could only have got through to win by prom rnrs fading notably. Aspirant a good type but a bit Ix and racing too close to pace so got tired. RODreams attended pace more comfortably than winner but went from Rail to making progress wide in Centre track while Homestretch ran on down Rail alone in last 1.5F as others rolled around mid-track. ROD close to winning otherwise as best of closers. ROD briefly hampered or Intim by both hanging Aspirant & Constantine as made progress centre wide.
