GGF from GFG on decs. 7.5mm rain Thu, 5mm Fri & 1.5mm overnight. 5mm watering on each of Mon & Tue. GStick 06:30am.

Rail Out for Whole distance of race. Adds 16yds to Race Distance.

15DegC. Strong Westerly Wind = 1/4 Tailwind from Right Uphill, 3/4 Tailwind from Right HS.

Stiff Pace (1 for 2-3F then upped after Hf) set by FPeaches on rail and 1L+ Clear until DC move up to her outside-2f+. Only two within usable distance of FP were DC in 2nd 1L+ back at Hf and AA on rail 2L+ back and niggled at times. Gap back to rest and all Ngl/Dv by ins -2.5F except for SStar who had got into a bad position from a slow start (less of a problem FTO on a straight track with a slower pace). A real -ve here and caught in the ruck from early on and having to work out to the centre to make progress.

FP tired by-1F and strong fade but just hung onto 4th behind a big gap from front 3. SStar around 2.5L back by turn to straight an ok effort but FdgLt part due presumably to efforts into Pace uphill after halfway to close up. Just ordinary efforts from DC & AA before stalling last 0.5f.

But, SStar just a Medium one and less bulky than DC who is a similar size. SStar racing head down and just an ok mover and effort. FP some positives for being able to set strong pace which had the garbage spread out-2f+ but less bld than DC and S Smaller. Theory would be that she woun't improve and NH trainer had her ready FTO.
